Warhorse Camp Hill is seeking a dynamic and experienced Parts Manager to lead our Parts & Accessories (P&A) department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and sales management skills, experience with retail sales and inventory management, and a passion for the powersports industry. This role requires the ability to manage employees and operations efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.


**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Leadership & Management:**

  - Manage employees and operations of the Parts & Accessories department.

  - Provide training, coaching, and development for a high-performance sales team.

  - Establish departmental work schedules, balancing workloads with departmental needs.

  - Evaluate and counsel department employees, maintaining performance records.

  - Assist the General Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating employees.


- **Sales & Customer Service:**

  - Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to customers; perform cashiering, stocking, and other duties to promote efficient department functioning.

  - Resolve difficult customer problems in a courteous and professional manner.

  - Set-up and maintain a smooth-running, efficient P&A department.

  - Grow the volume of P&A sales and maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives.


- **Inventory Management:**

  - Identify correct part numbers specific to a motorcycle/powersport vehicle.

  - Ensure P&A personnel are well trained and available when needed.

  - Review all stock orders to ensure a fast-moving, balanced inventory of Parts & Accessories.

  - Maintain sufficient quantities of stock to support demand and acceptable inventory turn ratio.

  - Supervise and maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory management and control system.

  - Generate and review inventory and Open to Buy (OTB) reports.


- **Operations & Systems:**

  - Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for service and parts management.

  - Establish procedures for ordering, receiving, logging into inventory, displaying, and selling all merchandise.

  - Ensure employees keep a clean and orderly department.

  - Maximize return on investment of parts inventory.

  - Provide reports to the General Manager, as requested.

  - Develop monthly and annual objectives for the department in collaboration with the General Manager.

  - Plan and execute exceptional promotions to attract both new and existing customers to the dealership.


**Qualifications:**

- Strong leadership skills.

- Strong sales and sales management skills.

- Experience with retail sales and inventory management.

- Previous experience in developing and coaching a high-performance sales team.

- Prefer knowledge and experience with servicing vehicles and other products sold by the dealership, or the ability to quickly learn them.

- Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software, or the ability to quickly learn.

- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, along with general email/internet skills.

- High School Diploma or equivalent degree required; further education preferred.

- Physical requirements: use of both hands, frequently required to bend, climb, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift 50lbs of material; standing and/or walking for extended periods; ability to balance and/or push an 800+lb motorcycle/powersports vehicle.


**Work Environment:**

- Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.

- Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.

- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
